Natural Dong Ding Oolong 有機凍頂烏龍
Medium oxidation, medium Roasted. Semi-machine picked
Origin: Nantou, the central Taiwan
Dong Ding has two meaning: the mountain’s name in Nantou and the way of making tea. In ancient Taiwan, Hakka people called this area Dong Ding, which means the top of the mountain. In another legend, ancestors didn’t have shoes and walked with tiptoe(踮著腳),which sounds like Doing Ding in Taiwanese. Now Dong Ding is the established way of making tea with a stronger taste and fermentation. Made with Jinxuan and Green Jade tea leaves, it is a popular Taiwanese oolong tea exhibiting a rich body and smoky taste.*Our temple bags come with full Dong Ding oolong tea leaves
